Looking For Stress?

There are many reasons to check for stress in mounted lenses. Too much stress on a lens may not manifest itself until the day your patient exits a warm office building into sub-freezing temperatures and the lens implodes. Aside from viewing stress patterns you can determine axis in polarized lenses. This is a compact bench top model that you can hold in your hand. You’re at a dispensing table and you need to tighten a screw...

You look around at the possibilities. Do you risk damaging the dispensing table? Do you hold the frame in your hand?

What you need is this bench aid to rest the frame on while you work. Small enough to fit most anywhere. Mount with the rubber extending or the rubber overlapping the counter top. 3" long. Screws provided for mounting. 

Do you have a screw stuck so tightly that any more pressure will strip the driver slot and create more problems?

Use a drop of this specially formulated screw loosening fluid on the head and base of the screw and allow it to sink in. The fluid is designed to flow between the threads to make it easier to break free. 6cc applicator.
